Know what else I'm tired of?
Yet another article on how something in a public place is full of germs (today's post was about gas pumps).

Of course it is, you numnuts;  we are germy creatures.  I didn't need to watch the Discovery show this week to know that (although I did watch it, of course; I love those kind of shows).

Passing germs back and forth is actually a survival trait - both for us and them.  People have different flora and fauna which not just help us, but we are finding that they are VITAL for our survival - even from the very beginning in the womb.

What's the solution?  Do we need one?  God knows hand sanitizer just encourages some creatures and makes the rest resistant.

Keep yourself reasonably clean so the bacteria have less to chew on and therefore you don't stink.  Cover wounds if you're concerned about bugs gaining entry that way.

Being paranoid wusses is NOT helpful.  It actually brings on what you're trying to avoid.  Without a strong and diverse population, our immune system doesn't know how to respond appropriately to things, and we are becoming more, not less, sensitive.  That is an ANTI-survival trait.
